By downloading or using Sprite Catch you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. The part that matters most is section 4: there is zero tolerance for abusive content, and accounts that post it get removed.
Sprite Catch is a free, unofficial, fan-made collection tracker for Fortnite "sprite" collectibles, made by Mateo Duran. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc. It is not a game, it does not connect to your Epic account, and it cannot grant, transfer or modify any in-game item. Trades are arranged between players inside Fortnite itself — the app only helps you find someone to trade with.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sprite Catch. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.
No account is required — the app works anonymously. If you sign in with Apple, you are responsible for keeping access to that Apple ID secure. You may ask me to delete your account and all of its data at any time (see Support).
Sprite Catch lets you enter a display name, a Fortnite tag, and a free-text note on a trade listing. Anything you enter that is visible to other users is "user content", and you are responsible for it.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You may not post user content that is:
Do not put personal information — your real name, your address, your school, your phone number, an email address — in your display name or in a trade note. Other users can see it.
If you see user content or behaviour that breaks these rules, report it to mateoduran2010@gmail.com. Include the display name or friend code of the user and, if you can, a screenshot. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.
I may remove any user content and suspend or permanently remove any account, without notice, for breaking these rules. Accounts that post objectionable content are ejected from the service.
Trades happen in Fortnite, between you and another player, entirely at your own risk. I do not verify that anyone owns what they claim to own, I do not escrow anything, and I cannot recover an item you lost in a bad trade. Never pay real money for an in-game item, and never share your Epic account credentials with anyone.
Fortnite, sprite names and sprite artwork are the property of Epic Games, Inc. and are used here as fan content under the Epic Games Fan Content Policy. The app itself — its code, layout and original design — belongs to me. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app. You may not resell it, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law permits.
Sprite Catch is a free hobby project. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. I do not promise the catalog is complete or accurate, that the service will be available, or that your data can never be lost. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and my total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it — which is nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above may not apply to you.
I may change these terms; the date at the top will be updated, and continuing to use the app means you accept the change. I may also change or discontinue the app at any time. You may stop using it at any time by deleting it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protections you enjoy where you live.
